Never in history have teens experienced the levels of depression and anxiety that they do today.  A few different factors contribute to this startling truth, and another artilce on the site speaks to the research and reasons behind this. For those teens local to the Walnut Creek and surrounding areas, there is a new group starting that will support youth walking through these issues…not only the depression and anxiety that manifest from the conditions impacting youth, but the substance use, suicidal ideation and addictive patterns and behaviors that arise as a result of the internal pain. 

Karin has been passionate about her work with teens since 1975 when she first began teaching high school.  That experience launched her on her current path of supporting mental health, addiction recovery and the capacity for teens to find their voice and their wisdom as their path to healing and wholeness.
